Amp top OverdriveI can only describe this as an upmarket Rangemaster. It has 2 preamps, that cascade into one, giving loads of drive, In my opinion this is very tube sounding due to the two different types of pre amp used. The first is Germanium, an exact clone of the Rangemaster, which can be used on it’s own & the second is a mosfet, which can be used alone or driven by the Germanium preamp. There are loads of settings on here from clean to extremely well over driven. Each preamp has a bypass toggle, so either can be used or both cascading together; It uses 2 x 9v batteries & the whole circuit is very low drain & will last for hours. The unit is switched on with a switched input jack. There are two output jacks for driving two amplifiers if required.

Burford Electronics twin 386 Mini AmpThis has an internal speaker but also a 4 Ohm output which would drive basically any cab. It has two switches on the front one for ‘on’ & the other for boost. It has a military style volume control. It has an internal 12 volt accumulator which is rechargeable, there is a 12 volt socket on the back which you can trickle charge with a solar panel [panel is not supplied] or other 12 volt charging supply; Ideal for caravan or boat, it will last for hours & go anywhere. With the internal speaker it is very loud for what it is. Ideal for blues & buskers the outside is well covered & presented. Physical dimensions are 17 & ½ inches long x 4 & ¾ inches deep x 4 & ¾ inches high. |

Burford Avant Guard Prototype Amplifier based on the (JRC386)Vinyl covered, the appearance & covering is extremely well done. It has three controls & one switch; ‘on & off’, tone, gain level, the tone control is a push/pull pot, so that when pulled out it switches in the gain, so pre set the gain & pull to boost & the attenuator is the over all volume. It has an 8-inch speaker with an output socket that will drive a separate cab. Internal 12 volt accumulator, charging socket on the back that can be charged with any 12 volt supply or solar panel [not supplied] once charged it will last for hours. Physical dimensions are 14 & ½ inches long x 8 inches deep x 13 inches high.

Ampico 7003 small ampVintage styled small amp, which has been lightly distressed to look old. It has 2 Internal speakers, 8 ohm output, about 1 watt in power. It has three controls, volume, tone & three way bass selector switch. It has a 12-volt internal accumulator that can be either trickle charged with a charger or charged from a solar panel [not supplied], ideal for caravan, boat or busking. Physical dimensions are 14 & ¼ inches long x 4 & ¼ inches deep x 4 & 5/8 inches high.

Ampico 7052 ampThe Ampico 7052 amp, retro styled & distressed to look old, has two internal speakers. Finished in a minty green colour. Tone control is actually mid reduction. Physical dimensions are 14 inches long x 4 inches deep x 9 inches high.
